Authentication

Your API key is a bearer token — include it in the Authorization header on every request.

Header format

Attach Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY> to every API call.

401 vs 403 vs 429

401 Unauthorized

401 Unauthorized — header missing or invalid API key

403 Forbidden

403 Forbidden — key is valid but not entitled to this endpoint (tier restriction)

429 Rate Limited

429 Too Many Requests — exceeded current tier rate limit

Sandbox vs Live keys

Only live keys are available today — sandbox keys are on the roadmap. Use the Free tier to experiment without billing impact.
