Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Owner: astrom8 (Astrology Technology Services)

1. Definitions

  • “Service” means the astrom8 API and all related services
  • “User” means any individual or entity accessing or using the Service
  • “API Key” means the authentication credential issued to a User
  • “Credits” means the usage units purchased or allocated per billing period

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using astrom8’s Service, you agree to these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree, please cease using the Service immediately.

3. Account Registration

3.1 You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API Key and credentials.

3.3 Do not share your API Key with unauthorized parties.

3.4 You must notify astrom8 immediately if your API Key is compromised.

4. Permitted Use

4.1 The astrom8 API may only be used for lawful commercial purposes.

4.2 You may:

  • Build commercial fortune-telling applications
  • Integrate the API into your own systems
  • Provide astrology services to your end users

4.3 You may not:

  • Sell or sub-license your API Key
  • Use the Service to build a product that directly competes with astrom8
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service

5. Rate Limiting and Usage

5.1 Each tier has defined monthly credit limits.

5.2 During public launch, API calls stop when credits are exhausted unless you upgrade or support adds quota. Future overage billing, if introduced, will be published before it takes effect.

5.3 astrom8 reserves the right to throttle or suspend accounts showing abnormal usage patterns.

6. Payment and Billing

6.1 Fees are charged via Stripe on a monthly or annual basis.

6.2 Unused credits do not roll over to the next period.

6.3 Annual billing receives a 17% discount from the monthly price.

6.4 Pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

8. Privacy and Data

8.1 We collect only data necessary to provide the Service.

8.2 Astrological data submitted via API is not permanently stored unless otherwise specified.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The astrom8 Service provides astronomical and astrological calculations for entertainment and informational purposes only — not financial, medical, or legal advice.

9.2 astrom8 is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Service.

9.3 astrom8’s maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 3 months.

10. Service Level Agreement

10.1 We target 99.9% uptime for Starter tier and above.

10.2 Planned maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.

11. Termination

11.1 You may cancel at any time by contacting ops@astrom8.com.

11.2 astrom8 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11.3 Upon termination, API Keys expire immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Disputes are subject to Thai jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

astrom8 reserves the right to modify these Terms with 14 days’ email notice before taking effect.
